3. AI Limitations

The Service relies on artificial-intelligence models supplied by third-party providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) to extract structured data from invoices and to suggest mappings. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Performance depends on factors including document quality, formatting, language, and the configuration you provide.

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying every AI-generated result before approving a bill, syncing it to your accounting software, or making any payment based on it.

4. Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available without interruption, error-free, or secure at all times. Outages, errors, or delays may occur due to maintenance, software defects, network issues, or factors outside our reasonable control. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from such interruptions.

The Service integrates with third-party services, including but not limited to Gmail, Microsoft 365 / Outlook, Xero, Vercel, Auth0, and various AI providers. We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, accuracy, performance, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of any third-party service through AutoBooks is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policies.

6. No Guarantee of Business Results

We make no representation or warranty regarding any specific business outcome, time-saving, cost reduction, accuracy improvement, audit-compliance benefit, or other result you may achieve from using the Service. Results vary based on your data, processes, and how you choose to use the Service.

7. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all extracted invoice data;
• Confirming vendor identity, payment amounts, GST treatment, and due dates;
• Maintaining secure custody of your account credentials and any API keys;
• Ensuring you have the right to upload and process the documents and data you submit;
• Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards;
• Maintaining your own backups of records that you are required by law or policy to preserve.

8. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Clan AI be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including, without limitation, lost profits, lost data, missed payments, late-payment penalties, audit findings, or business interruption — arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
